An Evening with Jamie Hinchey, MS, CF-SLP
Thursday, January 29, 2015, 6:00-8:00pm

Language skills are essential for making friends, interacting with adults and functioning well in school. It may seem like talking “just happens,” but there are many things you can do to help your child progress during the toddler and pre-school years to prepare them for later. Please join us for a night dedicated to early language and communication skills with Spectrum Pediatrics’ speech-language pathologist, Jamie Hinchey. Jamie will address typical speech and language development, including early talking, articulation, listening skills, stuttering, and forming sentences. She will share strategies to encourage language development and listening skills in your daily routine. Language delays happen for many different reasons; Jamie will discuss the components of speech and language evaluations and how to get started. A question and answer period will be included to target discuss questions and concerns you have about your child.
